Every once in a while I hear or see variations of this. "Smells like fish, tastes like chicken"
First time was in highschool. Also heard it in college. Later from the kind of guys that are 20 to 60 and think that Coyote Ugly and Porkies are epic movies.
Now in my experience I would have never thought of saying or writing such a thing.

So, someone has come up with the idea of 'Prisoner Idol', and whether or not a good idea, if I were a contestant I would sing 'I Shot the Sheriff', or maybe 'We Gotta Get Out of This Place', but I certainly would not be performing any Marvin Gaye.

I'm surprised you would watch a film with the word "American" in the title.

To clarify for you. You would see a number of these in Montreal at your local places of 'Entertainment', sliding down a brass pole. These would leave 'snail trails' down the pole.
Something a little more related to this forum;

However, come to think of it, I have never watched, listened or read any movie, record or book with the words Canada or Canadian in the title. Go figure...

And I love the song "Blame Canada" from the South Park feature movie.
Here's a complete list of every film ever made with the name 'Canada' in the title.

You absolutely, positively must watch "American Movie." One of the ten best movies I have ever seen (and it is a documentary).
