Sure.
If first you surround your cherished piece of paradise with a solid 10 foot fence, covered with signs stating that trespassers will be killed.

Out of one, many.

Every situation dictates a different action and outcome. Too vauge to answer with just yes or no.

Should you be able to shoot someone who you catch trying to steal your hubcaps? Of course not. But if they break into your house in the middle of the night, you have no idea whether they're after the DVD player or your life -- then absolutely. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Seems like common sense to me.

Yes. People work hard for their stuff. You see a guy stealing your stuff and you beat him to death, or pop a cap in him, then to bad for him. He shouldn't of been trying to steal your stuff.

If I'm paying $20 for a cigar, it better be "contraband."

Only if your life is threatened...or if you can prove that you really felt your life was threatened.

If he threatens your life and those you care for, absolutely not.

If he's after your humidor, that's another matter entirely.

Hell yes!!!

Shoot them...

Look we dont have enough prison space to house them. Besides, there should be a very clear message here in that if you seek to proffit by victimizing others or get a thrill off victimizing others then getting killed in the process is just a risk you take doing your crime.

Good point...Shoot to Kill. And don't think about using anything smaller than a .357 Magnum & of course make sure a loved one (which inclused humidors)is not standing directly behind the intruder.

I think they do Nick. You may have to protect your private property from more than thugs and criminals. With them it depends on what they are stealing and where.

What if the government wanted to take your property? We see this more and more. Would you defend your inalienable rights to the point of losing your life or taking that of a soldier or cop?

Remember, our right to private property is the right that all others depend on. If we lose THAT right then the threat of taking your land/home would shut you up in the protest of injustice, it would cause you to sacrifice your right not to testify against yourself, your freedom of self determination, etc.... The right to own and protect private property is what sets us apart from other democracy's and makes us special.
