Got my first Flor de Olivia's in the mail today. The "word on the street" was that these are a great cigar at a great price for an "everyday" smoke. I finished the Lino African and kept thinking about the Olivia's so i fired up a corona (out of a sampler). I thought it had a great flavor, good construction, and a nice solid ash. Does anybody else smoke these? I also got a couple of the gold label (for weekend morning trips to the driving range), some maduro's (my favorite wrapper) and a couple 10th anniversary's (as recommended in the current issue of CA. I think we found a winner!

I like the maduros which, bought on-line, run me less than $2 each. These are especially good for "quickies" - when you don't have time to smoke an expensive cigar for an hour or more.

I've got a couple of FDO churchill's in my humi. The robusto's are pretty good too.

stanky: do you buy bundles? if so where do you get them?

The best price i have found online for these is 37.00 for a bundle of 25 or 54 for the maduro's (which i prefer).

I buy singles, at bundle prices at my local shop. I am loyal to my friends at the shop, and I am in there everyday.(sometimes twice a day) Even though I can save money online, I won't do it.

I tried these a couple of months ago and I really like them. I think the Maduro's are some of the best bundled smokes out there.

Spend $10 bucks more and get the Oliva Grand Maduro. I like them better than the buddles. Damn fine maduro that won't kill wallet.

I agree -- the Grand Maduros are great. But my favorite FDO is the corojo. Man, they are great with just a bit of age on them. They are by far my favorite go-to cigar.
