Just bought a box of upmanns in the UAE. I noticed that some have incredibly good draws and others horrible. Can you "fix" a bad draw or is caused by not cutting the cigar right or is it just the way it's rolled? Some on said that I should roll the cigar between my hands before I smoke it, to loosen the tabacco. Is this good advice?

I got them from the duty free shop out here, they store them at 75RH around 72F. I have them in another shop, a better shop stored at 74RH at 68F. The duty free guys really don't know how to maintain their humidor. The shop I have them at now, only sales cigars. The guy who runs it is pretty knowledgeable. I also bought other cigars from the good shop, like romeo and Jul. Sometiems I'll get one of those with a bad draw. Never happens with the premium cigars though.

let 'em sit at 65 for a bit and try them again. i expect they'll smoke better at a lower rh.

they do have the draw poker that can help with draw. i personally dont use it. RH can def be a problem. but the few i run into with bad draw, i kinda brush it off. they are handmade items. even though manufacturers try to make them all the same, its nearly impossible.
