I'm very anxious about getting my first humidor.

I'm pretty intrested in this one:http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/itemdetail.asp?SKU=HUM-BH1

It says it can hold up to 350 cigars, and has a large base..

I was thinking about getting a Cigar Oasis® Plus for this humidor...do you think that's a waste? Is the Cigar Oasis® Plus only designed for very large units?

the oasis plus would be, in my opinion, overkill for a humidor that size. I had a 300 count and the regular humidifiers worked perfectly. never had a problem. look at it this way, I have a 3000 count humidor with about 2500 cigars in it, and I use the oasis plus. it's amounts like that that the oasis was made for.

I have this exact humidor but I bought it in the package that includes the standard Cigar Oasis. It works just fine so I'd guess that the Oasis Plus would be overkill

Hope it's not too late, but I've got this same humidor and it is well humidified with the brick type humidifier that comes with it.

It doesn't really hold 300 though, as I'm sure that most humidors don't hold their actual capacity. I have a variety of different sizes and I'd say it goes around 150-200. But it is a very nice humi.

Steadily Shine. The oasis plus will more than humidify your humi, howver I wouldn't consider it overkill. With the bigger resevoir you'd onlyhave to add water say once a year! So you could fill it and forget it. A big bonus considering the value of the cigars you may one day fill it with.
