Hello everyone. I'm a cigar smoker and professional engraver in the Denver area and just want to introduce myself. Most of the work I do is on firearms and knives but one of my favorite pieces to engrave is the Xikar Xi3 cutter.

I've been lurking here for a while and have gotten a lot of great information. Thank you.

Welcome, David. Do you have a web site for your engraving work? (There, I asked, so you can't be accused of unsolicited advertising).

Do you do Bulino style on shotguns?

What cigars do you enjoy?

Sorry about the Kid Rocks, Dave.

Welcome, though.

Thanks guys. I do have a website, www.dcengraving.com and I do work in bulino style. I am working on five rifle floorplates with everything from cape buffalo to antelope.

Favorite smokes: Opus X(imagine that)and just about anything with Fuente in the name. My favorite everyday smoke is El Rey Del Mundo Robusto.

My wife and I were at game four. Sad we lost but happy we got that far. Congrats to the Red Sox.

David

Hey, Dave ... I just noticed a phrase on your website that gave my wife and me a chuckle.

Jack,
Thanks for pointing that out. My wife and I have a six week old baby and are suffering from a slight lack of sleep. Apparently I hadn't had enough coffee when I typed that up. It will be changed in the morning.

Scottological,
I get my cigars at Prince Phillips and The Original Cigar Store.

Welcome!!
What is your turn-around time on knives? I have a Kershaw Ken Onion Leek, http://www.premiumknives.com/knifefiles/Kershaw_Shun_Kn...w_Knives_K1660ST.jpg , hopefully the link works. I might be interested in having some work done to it.

Haven't heard of those B&M's. I'm a fan of Cigars on Sixth, What's Knot to Love, and Havana's (in Cherry Creek North.)

I have a two year old daughter and a one week old daughter at home, so I'm familiar with not sleeping.

Let's get together for a smoke sometime. I'm a freelancer so I have my days free.

TXsmokeater,
Most of the time I can get knives done pretty quickly but right now I'm working on about 8 guns that will be going to Reno in January for the SCI show and the Gunmakers/ Engravers Guild show. I may be able to squeeze it in between bigger jobs. Shoot me an email and we can discuss it more.

Scttological,
Havana's is very nice. P.Phillips is around Hampden and Tamarac and OCS is at 88th and Sheridan. My free time is at an all time low right now but let me know when and where.

My email is david@dcengraving.com
