How is that worse than someone bringing up the perfect woman and you thinking of your dog? Her hair sure is purty and she smells so good when she gets back from the groomer.

That's a good question to ponder...Hmmm. Which is worse.... (a) associating attributes of a dog with a woman (b) hearing the word dog and thinking about sex Close call. You decide.

I thought that was the reason YOU got into the vet business. I used to patron your clinic until I saw my dog walking out of there with a smile on his face and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

Oh yeah that would have to be a dog. No challenge there. quote: Originally posted by Guilow: I would say, one who is..... -Always happy to see me -Takes crap from me and doesn't say a word -Doesn't mind any of my bad habits -Thinks I'm the greatest man to ever live -Doesn't care for fancy clothes, jewelry, or extravagent dinners. -Always willing to do anything with me
OOPS....That's my dog. Sorry.
Actually, the perfect woman doesn't ask men questions like this.

Who doesn't have nuoc mam or patis at home? Its like a staple right. What is a big bowl of PHO without it? And dont forget the sri racha either. Back to dogs, guilow, It was a good thing you brought him in too. BTW, we found your wedding ring in his colon. The x-rays are quite disturbing.

I love my wife, but she's not the perfect women. I don't think such a thing exists, but... I'll love to find out how close to perfect any of the following are, in no particular order: Selma Hayek Alyssa Milano Elizabeth Hurley Shania Twain Jenny McCarthy

FYI - your soul-mate is just a geographical restriction...I've seen Bider's website - some of you should just be content a chick lets you touch her breasts ::wait for tinytim to comment on his once-chiseled man-boobies:: props go out to pmp for his wife, the handful of you that could beat my @ss (i.e. snipersnest), and bub838... everytime i look at your picture i chuckle...in a good way...i think Oh, hey, ya know what weirds me out? the two pics of wacco side-by-side. On the left he looks like a throw-back biker... and in the right one he looks neutered. is it just me? Sox

Bub could beat your ass? Wow, you must be really self conscious. LMFOA @ Wacco neutered comment. And thanks for the props. Somehow my ugly mug did OK.

quote: I mean what does a girl have to do? I mean we can dedicate ourselves 110% to try to make one guy happy and they just take it all forgranted. What's that all about? I just don't get it so I want to know what men really want.
Earthdaygirl: It happens that way for men, too. We can put 110% effort into "making a woman happy" but it comes down to if the people aren't committed to each other it won't last. This has more to do with two people being in synch with each others' values and goals, at a particular point in both their lives. This isn't easy to achieve. More often that not one person will be ready to settle into a long-term commitment - becoming a "buyer" so to speak, and the other person will be in a place where they want to be a "renter" instead. In these cases when the renter wants to move on, the buyer is always disappointed or heartbroken. Your question, therefore, is a bit misguided. It should really ask: How and where do I find a man whose goals and outlook are the same as mine? The answer to that is usually while engaging in activities that are important to you, and associating with people who are like-minded. Most marriages come from people who've met friends of friends, met at work, met during hobbies, etc. etc. So knowing yourself and loving yourself is more important to finding a successful relationship than trying to figure out men. Hope this helps.

Hi Masher, You're right on all points but the search gets old and the older we are the more we're set in our ways. I think the lucky people found their mates when they were late 20's early 30's. Anybody on here find your great loves while you were in your mid 30's or up?
