I got home last night after spending way too long in the darkroom and decided that i was going to treat myself to one of my nice Padilla Miami's after diner. So after eating 2 turkey paddies and some chicken i rushed out to the garage to start the relaxation. The Padilla lights great! I got about a quarter into the cigar when i decide i'm going to take a walk around the block. Right when i stand up BAM!! My precious Miami slips out of my hand and lands right on the cement...I pick up the cigar to inspect the damage and I notice that half of the outside of the cigar is peeling off and the entire cherry is gone. So i re-light a little and puff away a little and it goes out. Try to re light and nothing....since so much was peeling i decided to give up after another 3 times and go inside.

BIG time bummer

That sucks. I would hate to lose a cigar like that.

I feel your pain.

Back in about 1998 I was smoking a LGC Croun Imperial, a 9 inch X 48 ring monstor when the same thing happened to me. The wrapper leaf peeled away.

The cigar lost all of its flavor after that.

Doc ***** Tobacco is a filthy weed, I like it...
