Not only have you fed and encouraged my budding addiction by constantly talking about smokes and giving me new ones to try. But you have also now addicted me to Cbid... My lowly 75 count humi is now bursting at the seems and I still have more cigars on the way and other auctions pending, and many I am still waiting to jump in at the last minute if the price is there... I officially have no where to put these new cigars...guess I'll have to start double fisting it. I have no one to blame ... but all of you!!! Smile

Listening to these guys and getting pulled into the cigar world, is like the laugh a bunch of old guys have after they talk some young buck into getting married and settling down. In both cases, its too late to do anything about it, so just join in, (buy an oversized humidor), and laugh as you trap others in the cigar tractor beam.

Oh, I see, it's the old "I got addicted to c-bid and didn't think far enough down the raod to order a large enough humidor to accomodate my habit" trick. Welcome to the group!

If you don't kick your c-bid addiction, whatever you do, don't start buying more desktop humidors. Make an igloo-dor or two.

DUDE! Just get a cooler. You DO NOT need to do anything fancy. Just get a cooler and 65% beads. You do not need to add cedar or make it look cool to be functional.

I am very jealous of some of these guys' coolers, but mine works just as well Smile

you can buy the brick cooler at walmart for under $20.00. Then just buy some wet foam from a floral shop and a small tupperware bowl. Cut the foam to fit the bowl and charge with PG 50/50. I've been doing this for the last several months and my humidity stays at 67%

thats how mine started out.
I went to the 65% beads now, but i
did start out with the foam.
I have to say, the beads make it
less work.

That's all my coolerdor is and it works great. I've got 6 boxes in there with some 70% beads and a digital hygro just to be sure; works great. The only reason I would say you need extra cedar is if you're going to store cigars out of their boxes. The cedar will help keep regulate the humidity. However, if the smokes are in their boxes it's not necessary. Sure looks awesome though Wink.

Well, I was just starting to get the cbid addiction under controll. But I still had this problem of too many cigars and no where to put them. So I got online yesterday and bought a new 300 count humi... a cooler won't quite do the trick due to the fact that I mostly have only single sticks. I know messed up logic but I really wanted a larger humi, OK? After continually promissing my wife I am done buying smokes like this for awhile, I stop off at the cigar store today to pick up a few sticks for the Halloween Trick or Treat PIF dealio. What do I see there on the shelf as soon as I walk in... this can not be can it? I did not think this cigar/liquor store could ever get lucky enough to get a box of MBII (I am pretty much an Oliva whore btw). So there I am sitting there knowing full well these are very limited production, and this may be my only chance ever to have one. So I do what any reasonable man in my situation would have done. I wipped out the cellphone and activated that Americn Express card in my wallet that had been sitting there dormant for 8 months so I wouldn't use it on frivalous purchases. OOOOHHHH BOY. Then I got home. "Hey honey, I just dropped another 200 bucks on smokes plus the sticks I got for some of the guys I met on the net and really don't know from Adam."
So again I must say to you all, Damn you guys. I have only you to blame.

When I first start smoking cigars, I purchased one 25 cigars humidor. In the matter of month I had to buy another 150 humidor, then I purchased 250, another 200 and another 100. It's very addicted and expensive. I had to buy 2 Oasis Humidifiers and 4 Paradigm. In one year period I spend more than 5k on humidors and cigars. 6 month ago I realize that if I don’t buy any cigars anymore, I can still smoke for a year. So I am taking break: last time I purchased box was 5 month ago Smile
I still checking other new brands that coming out, like new Padilla and Bolivar, but trying to stay away from buying as much as possible.
You just have to control the urge Smile
