Just got a Nub today. It's supposed to be out soon but my cigar guy gave me one of the three that he had. Gonna smoke it after dinner tonight. Anybody ever had one?

Just got done smoking it. It was a 4X60 CT wrapper. Smoked very good all the way down to the Nub. It got a bit hot towards the end but I pulled through it. For 4 inches it took me almost an hour and a half! First half was creamy, very smooth with a buttery, slight hazelnut taste. Draw was a little harder than what I am used to but its a 4X60 so it was expected. In the last half, the light hazelnut taste went away and I got more of a woody taste. The last inch had a pepper and spice taste. Overall this was a great cigar and I guess they will be selling for 4-6 bucks. If you see them I would recommend giving them a try or 3.

I am curious

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."

FYI,

Cigar.com has a sampler on the nubs.

If you go to cigar.com and go to where their list of nubs are scroll all the way down and there is a black border around the area marked sampler purchase for Nubs. Thats if they still have any.

Also if you go to cigar.com and click on the smaplers page they have them there too in the manufacter section of it. That's where I got my two packages of Nubs it's not a bad deal you get six of them for $26 bucks.
But right I'm smoking from a Rocky Patel sampler pack that I bought in the same order.
Also I'm a member of the ir cigar of the month club. And this month is a Don Pepin sample which came with both White Label Nat Mad ( Sublime and Belicoso) wrappers, Blue label Invictos, Black Label 1950 and a 5 vegas Miami Torp.
Their COTMC deal is a good adding on to it their 10% of their prices.
