newer cars and high end models have a bluetooth connection directly with the car, so you can make calls and listen to your stored music on your iPhone without touching your phone.....
I post all the time from my iPhone, I'm actually on it right now.....

the answer is yes. Go on to apple.com and click on accessories. In any category, you will be able to limit the items shown by device type. I use both an IPhone and IPod on a Belkin FM transmitter.

Does the bluetooth connection work to sync your Iphone to the car for music playing purposes? Or any phone which has MP3 capability and bluetooth. I was under the impression that it doesn't.
I just bought my wife an 08 Benz SLK, and got the Ipod connector as an option for the car so she could control the Ipod through the car instead of actually using the Ipod...the dealer told me the bluetooth would work for phone calls but not music. If there's a way to rig it, I can get her an Iphone and kill two birds with one stone!

a friend of mine who used to do security with me has a newer model bmw that has the bluetooth hook up to his car, and an i-dock i believe where he can place the actual phone or ipod, or iphone, and all the music downloads to his car stereo, and he can talk at the same time.......
hope that helps.......

Ahh, makes sense. That's the same setup my wife has. THe bluetooth itself isn't connecting the music, it's the dock connection.
Thinking about it, I should still get her an iphone...but she normally leaves her ipod connected in the dock/connector now a days, so that may not be a good idea.
