Sounds like fun, the beer and Cubans that is, Training is still work but getting to see Germany would be cool. Be sure and smoke those Cubans all up before you come home. Wink

I envy you...

Not the training.

I have done my part in the past, supporting the German beer industry (it's very easy)!

And cigars are so much cheaper there (than here in Canada)

Enjoy, and we expect a full report!

Germany is not what it was in the good old days. Now it is overrun with legal and illegal immigrants from Eastern Europe, South Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Crime is up, prices are up. The beer is still good, but still not cold enough. Autoban is bumper to bumper with speed limits in many areas that were pedel to the metal in the good old days.

So the overall state of things in Germany has gone to hell in a hand basket, just like here in the USA. (I want a return to the kinder, gentler times of the 60s, 70s & 80s. Somebody turn the clock back.) <g>

Where in Germany will you be at? Grafenwoer? I live in the Mannheim area. Even though I am deployed for the time being, I love Germany. If you have any questions, give me a holler. Have fun!

Germany IS great, but it was way better in the late 80s before the wall came down. I knocked a few holes in the wall when it was coming down. I still have a few pieces of it.
