Dublin, CA wants to make it easier to sue their neighbors in small claims court if complaintant is bothered by neighbors smoking. http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctimes/community/14768601.htm

We, the cigarette smokers, cigar aficionados, and pipe smokers are ultimately to blame for all this anti-smoking bullsh*t. Excuse my use of profanity, but that's what exactly what all this is bullsh*t.

The Second Amendment hasn't been repealed due to the vigilance of the NRA. 12 yr olds can get abortions without a parent's knowledge because of pressure from Planned Parenthood and N.O.W. Illegals might actually become citizens and get things they're not entitled to because they're proactive. Congress is wasting valuable time and taxpayer money on something as asinine as a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage simply because it's something important to conservative Republicans.

Yet instill we can't do something as simple as killing purposed smoking bans, or at least getting a reasonable compromise.

We can bitch and complain until we're blue in the face and the Series 7 is down to a nub, but at the end of the day, the anti-smoking have only done what we've allowed them to do.

So from this moment on, I'm going to stop complaining about smoking bans. My life is in a state of flux right now. So I can't devote any time to get our message out. I'm not using it as an excuse, but it's a reality for me right now.

But there are lots of us who do have the time, money, and resources to organize resistance to this nonsense. The fact remains we don't care enough and we won't care until one of us is somewhere in public trying to enjoy a cigar in park or beach and we're cited for smoking in public.

Why were not as organized as the opposition is beyond me. Maybe one day we will be.

If I'm paying $20 for a cigar, it better be "contraband."
