sounds like a great idea- what with it being a great advertising chance for the makers. But I still have been on the fence about these- so little time for all the "name brands" I want to try. But still a good review from you would mean something- get to smoking once they are rested!
A friend gave me with White Label (Camacho) last night. I'm shocked at how much I enjoyed it because I always wrote these off as junk. Anyway, the White has a dull Colorado wrapper but the burn and draw were absolutely perfect. It wasn't extraordinarily complex but very smooth and pleasant, with a creamy, woody character that I'd describe as mild even though they are billed as full bodied.
The only part I'm suspicious about is where these are made. You'd think the White Label would be made at the Camacho factory, etc. but then I saw the Graycliff and realized, no way. So maybe these are "blended" by the famous names and then all made at the same factory? CI isn't very forthcoming about that aspect.
Just curious, but what did you see about the graycliff that made you think that it wasn't actually rolled by them?
I thought these were an interesting idea, so I ordered 2 of each color a few weeks ago. I haven't tried any of them so far, but they look and smell just fine. As far as construction is concerned, I haven't seen anything with the ones that I have that I consider suspect.
The White Label's are very good. I've been buying them by the box for several years. I've heard the Perdomo one's are good, but I've never pulled the trigger on a box of those. The White Label's are made by Camacho and taste similar to the corojo blend, although not quite as strong. Check cigarbid for deals on these.

Labor costs in the Bahamas, together with exorbitant taxes on raw tobacco imports, are why Graycliffs cost around $300 a box. The CI Legends are about $60 a box -- you couldn't roll a Phillies Blunt in the Bahamas for that.
