A friend at work gave me 3 Drew Estates Natural Root cigars to try. He really likes them and wanted to see what I thought of them.

He insists they are not an infused cigar so I was wondering if I should put these in my humidor with the rest of my smokes or should I keep them in a separate humi, my traveldor?

They do have a pleasant smell to them and they dont smell like what I imagine Drew Estates cigars would smell like, incense or perfummy.

well considering that my local cigar bar keeps ALL acid, natural, dirt, and earth cigars in the same humidor display case, i'm pretty sure it would be a bad idea to mix those with your regular cigar humidor, i wouldn't even suggest putting them in your travel humidor either, you should try looking for a cheap but good humidor box/travel case for your flavored/infused cigars, i have a cuban crafter's humidor for my regular cigars which ran me about $65 and my acid 1400CC's and Kuba Kuba's go into a cheaper xikar plastic travel humidor box that i got for around $15. even though your friend says it's alright, it's better to be on the safe side and save yourself alot of cash and trouble, i hope this helps.

Whether it's technically an "infused" cigar or not doesn't matter. What matters is that it has a certain pungency that will be inflicted on the other cigars in your humidor if you store them together. Doc is right, get one of the cheap $4 humipouches and your drew estate cigars will be good for about three months.

Thanks guys, Even if they are'nt infused with flavors they still smell more like a pipe tobacco than cigar. I looked up the Drew Estates Root and read it is rolled with Latakia and Perique, both of which I like when I smoke a pipe. Maybe I should just keep them with my pipe tobacco. Big Grin
