You guys keep praising this cigar. I want to try it but none of the online merchants I use seem to have singles…they don’t even carry the brand. I would appreciate it if someone would let me know where I can buy a couple of Padilla Hybrid singles. Thanks.

I just put 5 Padilla Hybrid torpedos in my humidor, I won them on an online auction. I can't wait to try 1 tonight. I know I should probably wait but I wont. They seem to have a good reputation on this forum. I got 5 for $18.50.

I went to the site, chose “Padilla” from a drop down list and a page with Padilla cigars appeared. Are all the cigars on that page Padilla Hybrids? If so, which one do you guys recommend? How are the maduros?

The Hybrids and Maduros are different. I personally prefer the Hybrids. Try a couple of each.

The maduros are very sweet. Too sweet for my tastes but that doesn't mean you won't like 'em. Some people have had construction issues with the maduros but I personally have not. I like the hybrids a lot. Try a search, there's tons of info on them here Wink.

I got one in a package from Andy, and it was great.

Padilla needs to work on the distribution though. They sent me a list of NJ retailers. I went to the one close to me and it was pitiful. Small convenience store with 10 assorited boxes in a humi. Clipped and chewed LGC Serie R sitting in one of the boxes. Ugh.

I sent an e-mail to Padilla. Ernesto got back to me and he had someone send the list.
