Hello all,

I am relatively new to the forum and have only been smoking for a year and a half or so. I do not have a large disposable income, so I usually like to buy single sticks and not boxes.

I was just wondering if anyone has found a good online retailer that offers single sticks at reasonable prices. I visit my local tobacconist a couple of times a week, but I live in a small town and their selection is not that large. Any ideas??

How do they come shipped? And at what expense?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out.

I second the recommendation for Tower Cigars -- ask for Mark, nice guy, and extremely caring service...they really go out of their way.

Holts.com also has excellent service and a very large selection

Both www.cigarsinternational.com and www.famous-smoke.com have singles of most brands

www.jrcigars.com has a selection of 5-packs at "buy 3, get 2 free" pricing and very low shipping (around $2 per item)

My local, www.citytobacco.com, has an excellent selection of boutique brands and would put together a selection of singles for you if you call and talk with Phil, The Baron or Dino

Good luck.

Also try cigar.com. They have just about every brand available as a single. The cigars come lovingly shipped with a water pillow in plastic and a sturdy box.

I have had good luck recently with Faous and JR's.

Should we warn him about "T"

Here's an idea:
Open your own shop if your local isn't getting the job done. Of course I would wait until the scumbags in Washington decide on what they are going to do with cigar taxes.

I would love to open my own shop if I had more time and resources. I'm currently a full-time student and will someday own a business or two (who knows, maybe more), I'm just laying some groundwork first.

I don't know that being owning a cigar shop is my number one priority as I'll be in a bigger city in a few years and all of the big city shops I've been to have done a pretty good job.

Thanks for all of your advice. I will be checking these sites out.
