Good call, that is exactly what I use. Preferably Dijon, for the mustard, and I prefer sweet relish. Ketchup is not allowed, except for children and hot chicks.

Oh, and they must be all-beef dogs, unless they're Dodger Dogs Big Grin

I contend that you have never had a hot dog until you go to Hot Dougs in Chicago. Let them deep fry it, then grill it, then top it off with tomato, green pepper, fried onions, pickle, salt and pepper, and mustard. Never, ever, ketchup.

Be prepared to wait in line for an hour. It's worth every second...

My favorite is a Zweigels White Hot, grilled, with just mustard.

having had a Dodger Dog in the Ravine, I'll second the two thoughts above.

My favorite specialty dog is called the Varla; 1000 island dressing, horseradish sauce, swiss cheese, kraut, and crispy bacon bits...

Dirty Frank's is opening tomorrow. I plan on checking it out Saturday...

Chicago style, but replace the tomatoes with ketchup. I know, its blasphemy.

Mustard, Chili, Onions.

Also, I agree if you get chance to try or make a fried hotdog, that is a new experience all in its own...very good.

Dodger Dog with mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, and jalapenos. And of course any dog from Pink's in Hollywood.
