I couldn't help but resonate to Dave's notes on his interaction with Mr. Mayers. Last year my best friend gave me a box of Alfons' Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner selection for my birthday, and had him sign them for me. I was then lucky enough to meet him as we are virtual neighbors adn grab more of those great cigars. To have the chance to cross paths with such a personage is as Dave opines a special life event. To understand in Alfons man's ability to completely immerse yourself into your chosen and loved way of life is to see one of man's pinnacles. Thanks for the article Dave you are right we don't cherish enough those unique moments, thank you Alfons for signing into my life.
