Ok, I'm a noob and there for will ask what is probable a noob question. After some of my cigars I get a light headed, buzzed feeling. Is this normal for a new smoker or should I be concerned about something else?

It means there was some pot in your cigars... cigar makers secretly do this from time to time...

for real tho, it usually happens if you have an empty stomach or you are tired. Also if you have been sitting down and stand up quickly... It will go away with time... But every once in a while i find myself a little light headed but usually in the conditions i mentioned.

If you inhale accidentally or intentionally, that's what should've happened (see the topic inhale OR not)

If you don't inhale, that must be the specifics of your organism. It shouldn't normally be the case with any good cigar.

That's normal if you are completely new to smoking anything tobacco. It's probably just a nicotine buzz. It should be especially apparent if you're smoking a typically full-bodied cigar or if you're inhaling (which I would recommend against). Take a look at this forum http://forums.cigaraficionado.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3306086/m/338106064
and you'll see that even veteran smokers get that feeling from certain cigars.

Thanks guys for the great info. I don't inhale normaly, only accidentally. Last night when i wrote this, you can see it was early, very early morning, and had not had anything to eat in a while, so I understand that completely. Last night I had a CAO criollo, was a little more full bodied then I normaly like. Thanks again for the advice and info.

It's not at all unusual for someone who doesn't smoke alot to absorb enough nicotine from a strong cigar through the mucus membranes in his mouth to feel such effects.

Mom: "Twenty dollars for a cigar?!?! Why don't you just set fire to a $20 bill?"

Response: "Get a $20 bill to taste like a Davidoff and I'll light my entire paycheck on fire!"
