FYI-That Phelps woman is(or at least was) in jail. I'm not sure for what, but a couple of local DJ's used to have her all the time to make fun of her and reported she was in jail.

Wow, this is so sad. I just completed my first year of seminary education at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary here in Louisville, KY, and I hope you all know that these people truly know absolutely nothing about a proper Christian worldview. These are purely hateful individuals who have skewed a Biblical concept to support their bigotry. So hopefully you guys know that this position to addressing the issue of homosexuality is not the correct way any logical Christian would take.

These people's preachings are contrary to almost every view that the Bible promotes when it comes to viewing your enemies. These people have apparently forgetten Matthew 5:43-45 which says:
"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love they neighbour and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them which hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven: for he maketh the his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust"
This is taken from a section of the Bible called the Sermon on the Mount or the "Beattitudes", which translated means "be of these attitudes". For Christians, it's one of the most important parts of the Bible as it gives the most in-depth views of Jesus as he tells it via parables. It seems ironic that the woman in the video somehow skipped this part of Christ's teachings.
God does not HATE homosexuals or any other person. It's the ACT of that person that God takes issue with. In fact, I'm pretty sure God has more issue with what SHE is doing than the people she's protesting because her attitudes are driving people AWAY from God and not TOWARD God. I have quite a few friends that are gay. I may not agree with their lifestyle, but they are still very generous and warmhearted individuals that I'm happy to call my friends and are welcome in my house just as my family would be. This woman and the whole sect from their church is why 99.99% of all Christians are looked down upon by the secular world.
The best thing we can do for this woman is PRAY for her. Don't get me wrong, I take issue with everything that comes out of her mouth, but physical punishment will only strengthen her views in her mind. If she truely wants to follow Christ's preachings, she'll put down the placards, stop picketing and pick up a Bible and spend some time in a Church that truely preaches God's word.

These people (not the religion, the family) are a bunch of inbread, illiterate, imbeciles. Do you really think they have the capacity to interpret the Bible, or even read in general?
