When I opened the cardboard box, I saw that they had wrapped a ziplock bag with bubble wrap. Well the ziplock had become(unzipped). About 10 of the 20 cigars had started to slide out of the bag.I ordered them last Wednesday. Do you think the cigars dried out too much? What should I do about this whole deal?

Where were they shipped from?

If it as humid in Michigan as it has been in NYC?

Are they hard to the feel?

I am certain that if you complain to the vendor they will replace them, most cigar vendors have a guarentee.

Doc, They were shipped from Florida. And yes they are hard to the feel. Do you think they should replace all of them?

My opinion only:

If you are not happy with the cigars, speak to the vendor and explain to them why you want to return the cigars for exchange.

Most reputable vendors will send you a fresh set of replacements. Some will even tell you not to ship the bad ones back, and take your word that the cigars were substandard.

Just an update. I called the distributor And they are going to replace the damaged cigars with no questions asked. Should have them by the weekend.
