Don't tell me about how its been discussed a million times - I already know.

I'm just sayin', I got this on the way for my cigars and I'm excited. I'll need to convert, and I might be asking a question or two soon...

Sorry to say, it's way too small. Return it, cancel the sale, buy a 28 bottle for the same price.

Way too small amigo!

I have the same brand, only a 16 bottle size. After some cedar shelves and beads you're only going to have room for 2-3 boxes and 40-50 singles. That said, the Cusinart is a great model, good door seal and it has an internal fan the circulates the air every hour or so. Mine holds steady at 66-67% at the top and 69-70% at the bottom. Be happy to send some pics if you'd like.

btw, I thought everything was bigger in Texas !?!?!??

I aggree with the others - way too small. My neighbor has one of these, and after measuring the inside, determined that it would only hold 3, maybe 4 small boxes. Looks cool, and if you only intend to use it for storing a couple of boxes, then go for it.

I never thought that I would fill up my 28 bottle but 3 shelves of singles, a CC section and NC section later, I only have room for a couple more boxes. Do what makes you happy but I think you will have better luck with this one. There are more than a few members here that have this model including myself and you can't go wrong with the price.

I know, but it was "free". I cashed in a bunch of my Credit Card points and got a bunch of stuff including this.

Sure send pictures, that would be cool, especially the interior.

btw, I'm not in Texas - that's just a rumor - I think.

Put it on e-bay and buy one better suited for your stash.

Got it today. Y'all are right. It IS small, but I think I'll get 3-4 boxes in there plus a shelf for singles(approx 40).

AnyWho, thus begins the process of conversion.

I really liked this idea but since this is "free" I thought I'd take this opportunity to practice a humidor conversion, in prep for the larger one, hopefully in the future.

Well in the future look at this one, like Mr G said I bought one on his recommendation and currently have a botl on another forum making me 3 drawers for singles, and a shelf to put boxes on.

Yea, I know I could have found a better deal, in terms of size but as I said I'll practice on this one. Not to mention I don't have room for anything much larger anyhow.

The next thing I need to do is the measuring and then the building.

...then the reading...then the beads....

Lastly, I really appreciate the input!
