Whatever cutter you use just make sure it's SHARP!!! And, after you try your first Habano, everything else will pale in comparison!!!

I have a cuban crafters self sharpening cutter and it's as sharp as the day I got it a year ago. You'll be fine it'll cut anything and everything.

When I first started smoking a store owner sold me a Acid Blonde and a Acid #1. I lit the Blonde up and took 2 hits and had to toss. I gave the more expensive #1 to a co-work and I guess he chucked out the window after lighting. To each is own and you have to try a bunch and even go back to smokes you didnt like as your style and taste change. Welcome aboard.
