I tried the search but can't find anything on the original sun grown Rocky Patels. Would like to know if they are worth buying or if I should stick with the regular sun grown. Anybody know what the difference is?

the OSG is the original sun grown rocky put a pause on and released the vintage line instead.. the difference between the OSG and his sun grown line is its a slightly different blend, rolled in a different factory (UST), i guess the main difference is that because they are being released now they have about 4 years of age on them. and they will not be rolled again... 145,000 sticks only.

you can get them at cigarinternational for about $90 for 18 toros. I'm interested to see how the are myself Wink

Cheers
Simon

Yes, I saw them on the CI web site also and they sounded very interesting. I have read so much about how good the regular sun grown are I just wondered how they compared. Guess I might have to invest some of my Christmas money and find out. A Rocky Patel thats already aged 4 years sounds pretty good.

Been smoking the SG for a few years - consistent, quality smoke

We just got in several boxes of the Vintage 1999 and they are already gone; another winner by Rocky that is for sure. Definitely worth thr try but a totally different stick then the SG. So if you are expecting another SG smoke pass on this.

I tried the Vintage 1999 in Santa Barbara a month ago and was blown away. Another winner!
