Yesterday, I started a string about websites which show pictures of all types and sizes of cigars so that I could look at them before ordering from my favorite on-line dealer. I got a few responses (which I neglected to write down) and now the whole string is gone. What's up?

1. It isn't a "string." Maybe some feminine products you have used have a string but in a forum it's called a post and the replies that follow make up the thread.
2. You got a few responses which you neglected to write down. So why are people taking the time to help you and you don't even make use of the info? It's a simple thing to click or type the URL people gave you in that post and clcik bookmark.
3. Please learn how an internet forum works; the useless posts from people who are clueless and rely on the kindness of strangers to get through life gradually drop down the page and settle out on the bottom, much like dead plankton in the deep sea. These posts eventually become fossilized and are unearthed years later by mining operations. This new substance called internetium is the actual material the internet is comprised of. Working the raw internetium under intense heat of their forges, Internet cigar gods, such as myself, fashion scathing replies to silly noob posts, hence completing the circle of life.
Binder strikes again. Hey nixdad...don't take things too personal and just enjoy the forums. Its a good time and no one really wants to send people running from the forum. (or do they?? )
