Doc, this is not meant to interfer with your nightly cigar postings. I love reading them and would never hijack the suject.

I just thought that I would share that in celebration of getting a new job (and finaly getting out of retail!!!) , I will be lighting up a Davidoff Special "R" this afternoon.

Please wait for Doc to open today's thread and post your daily smoke there.

Response: "Get a $20 bill to taste like a Davidoff and I'll light my entire paycheck on fire!"

Congrats! Getting out of retail was a huge day in my professional career too! For me it was back in 1996 and I still remember it well!

Didn't smoke cigars back then but if I did I sure would have lit one up in celebration.

Warm Texas evening, comfy chair on the deck, 3 fingers of Wild Turkey, dog at my feet, and a good cigar. It doesn't get any better!

I miss retail for all the socializing but I'll trade it for where I'm at any day of the week.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Yes, the Special "R" was a great smoke! It was the 2nd one I had...1st one was last week at Davidoff in the city. About to light another one up, but I'll post that in Doc's thread.
