Today I am wearing a RED SOX 2004 World Series Champions shirt. And happy as all heck to have a chance to be one of the few teams to compete in the post season this year!!! Still remeber so well, the Yanks up 3-0 in the ALCS then losing four in a row. Man was that fun!

I Guess that's what a blow Sox fan would remember. I like the majority of people focus on the 86 years the blow Sox sucked wind.

I'm also remembering the decade of Steinbozo spending billions to have Aroid and such other great Yank off teams choke in the post season.

Great conversation.

If the Yanks don't win the series this year you can have the decade...

We'll always have 1918-2004

Whats with all the CT residents who can't figure out which team to follow? Couldn't stand them when I was in school. The yanks won't win the the world series, you heard it here first.

Like true Sox fans they are still following the Yankees...their hatred for the Yankees always has and always will exceed their love for their own team.

They're also busy planning for major changes for next season. Perhaps next year, the person they designate as "Captain" will be an everyday player on the field as opposed to a bench player. They also need to figure out whether to keep Big Papi and Lowell and keep their fingers crossed that free agent Bay resigns with them. They definitely have some middle of the lineup issues to deal with and the free agent market this year is less than spectacular. Should be interesting to see what changes they make.

I remember a huge drop off in Yankee gear last year too, go figure, bandwagoners everywhere.
Or do you think Yankee fans are just too darned classy to be bandwagon fans?

My barber used to whine and call them bums last year, he even quit watching the games.....guess what? He is diehard once again.

Same can be said about the Lakers, Cowboys, Steelers...whatever. It is human nature.

The good news for all fans alike is Michael Kay is done with play by play for the year.

What planet do you live on? Ever watch an away Sox game on TV? Often there are as many or more Red Sox fans in the opposing stadium's stands than their own fans. That's why they call it RED SOX NATION!!
