I got one of the last blacks with a purchase I made on Wednesday. Looks like an amazing stick and I am interested on hearing what people think...

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered a 5-pack as well. I already had two of these and I was going to smoke one for Christmas or New Years and sit on the other for a while. Now I can smoke one this weekend since I have 5 more coming.

I also order a sampler of their house brand. Been meaning to for a while now. We'll have to see how well they hold up to the other great cigars that they carry.

When someone smokes this, let me know IMMEDIATELY what you think. I promised no more cigar orders until January but I may have to break this promise to myself.

Sorry Jonesy, maybe I worded that badly. I HAVE two of them, not HAD two. But since I was able to order more I will be smoking one soon.

E-cord, I'll post what I think after I smoke it. I would like to say I will smoke it today, but I have a lot going on today. If I can fit it in I plan on it though. But it will probably be tomorrow. I made the same promise that you did, but I had to spring for these and since I broke the promise anyway, I ordered the house brand as well.

I smoked the House brand on Wednesday night and it was great. Your investment should be one you enjoy.

OK guys i'll try my best to describe the Tatuaje Black.First off i'll say if you like the Tatuaje brown lable you will most likely enjoy the black.Very similar in taste but the black is smoother and more refined right from the word go.Lots of pepper thru the nose. And a very nice earthy finish.I could feel it in the back of my throat thru the whole cigar. It had some coffee and leather but mostly pepper and earth. If your a fan of Pepin or Tatuaje i think this cigar is right up your ally.Come on E-Cord you can find some room on those credit cards for one more purchase. Its only $60.I say buy,buy ,buy

Well, after a very long weekend I finally was able to sit down and enjoy a cigar last night. I had been waiting to smoke the Tatuaje Black ever since I was able to order some more.

So imagine my disappointment when I go and clip the cigar and give an initial pull only to realize that the roll was so tight that it was almost plugged. It was smokable, but just. I think that the cigar will be another outstanding cigar in Pete's arsenal, but with the bad draw I really couldn't appreciate all the cigar had to offer. I certainly picked up on some of the earth, leather and coffee that cigdogg mentions. It was a good looking cigar with a dark brown wrapper that burned evenly and had a white/gray ash. The cigar was medium bodied and enjoyable when I relaxed enough not worry about the poor draw.

I think that if you handed me this cigar blind, I would have told you it reminded me of the brown label Tatuaje. I am anxious to try another one that has a better draw, to see just what this cigar can offer. If you are a fan of Tatuajes, I would certainly recommend this cigar to you, trusting that the draw issue will not be a universal problem.

I wish that I could say that might be the problem with the one I had, but mine had almost a month in the humidor and it wasn't over humidified either. I wasn't paying close enough attention to my humidor with the winter heat. The level had dropped down to 63% when I pulled it out to smoke it. But I'm not too worried. Tatuajes are known for their excellent construction, and I assume that these are being rolled in Miami along with the brown label. But maybe not. Anyone know where these are being rolled?
