Oh please, the thread is about a silly movie based on a cartoon and toy we all liked as kids...can't you keep your moral high-horse away for even one thread...You sound like a jittery mother in the late 50's worried that Ed Sullivan may show Elvis's hips...

To the OP, Sorry for the rant...

To the question, I saw the first one on the IMAX, so I'm going to hold out until it's on that screen again to see the second one. Those things transformed so quickly, and the screen was so big, it like a rollercoaster ride...

I really enjoyed the movie. However to Presley's defense, there is language that was vulgar to the target audience. A family with kids about six or so was next to me and much of the dialogue was not appropriate for that age group. Especially when a character was called a "p****" by an Autobot. Don't get me wrong the character was, however the movie was about fighting toy robots made for children.

Kids are learning things at a much earlier age than we ever did. None the less my 10 year old loved it.

My kids hearing someone called a pu$$y at school, and me taking them to a movie where someone is called a pu$$y, are two totally different things.

You actually went to see that on your own volition rather than being forced to go because your kids couldn't go by themselves. Serves you right. Big Grin

I saw it last week. Didn't like it a bit. Too flashy for my tastes I think. For some reason I don't enjoy these types of fast action movies anymore, specially when they're about transforming toys. Add to that the fact that I did not see the first movie.
Besides, they destroyed our pyramid!! Big Grin

Lucky

I saw it and was a bit confused. First they were in Petra (Jordan?) then they seemed to run to the Pyramids. Then the Marines came ashore with their tanks from LCACS.

I know Jordan and Egypt are in the same region but not running distance.

Are the Pyramids near the ocean?

Hahaha, thank god someone took notice.
The pyramids are nowhere near the ocean, not even near the Nile. Actually there aren't any oceans in Egypt.

The whole geography is screwed in that movie. They have Petra next to the Pyramids of Giza, next to the temple of Karnak in Luxor. It's at least 800 KMs between Giza and Luxor, and even more between Giza and Petra. It's like they put down all the Middle East in one one room.

They're probably just relying on the fact that most audience won't take notice of that.
