Very busy today. I got home with just enough time to have a Woodford Resere before dinner.

Now I have an Opus X Robusto

I had a Padron 1926 #9 on the way home from work today. it was great but would probably be even better if I had time to actually sit there, relax, and enjoy it

Why are John Deere's green? So they can hide in the fields while the Farmall's do all the work.

Well today we had a power outage in our area. I stayed home to man the generator. As the daylight came I went in my car with a strong cup of java and had a RP tenth anniversary toro with some latin jazz. The coffee and the music was great. the cigar? Ok.
After lunch a glass of Madiera wine and a Diamond Crown Maximus toro, bingo, perfect match. The flavors melded together perfectly. The gingery/clove finish of the cigar was perfect with the rich raisiny flavor of the wine. The music was the best of Compay Segundo and I drifted for about an hour.
Power was restored at 4pm.

I was feeling entirely too healthy after working out this afternoon, so I had a nice '06 PSD4 to even things out. Wink

Sorry to hear that, Mike. We were lucky and never lost power this time. However, during the October storm, we were the dead last ones to get power back. That completely sucked.

Once again enjoyed the unusual nice weather with my first Don Lino Africo Robusto that I got at an La Aurora event a couple of weeks ago and i have to say it was quite good.

I have a Dominican Republican Handmade called the Black Arrow that I got from a Holt's samplier...this cigar was horrible. Size was the same as the AF Curly Head but everything else about it was horrible. So far I am not liking this budget samplier that I got from Holts at all. I hope the other cigars get a little better.

I remember that James. We went three days without during that storm and we were thankfull for just that. I know of many people who were in the same boat as you that October. I pray that never happens again.
Glad to hear you avoided this one.

I am new to this forum, however I have been smoking for years. I thought my first post would be to share tonights smoke. I had a nice Perdomo Lot 23, with a glass of Port wine on the back deck. Not a bad way to spend an hour.
