I was up early this morning thanks to Peter. He gets up every morning at ablit 4:30 and "comes to bed" with me and MrsDoc, however, she is away today so I was his target.
It started snowing about 5:30 but fortunately only a little snow came down (about an inch) so I was able to get out shopping with little problem.
Now I am in the den with my 3rd cup of coffee. Columbian blend today and I have a Sungrown Chateau Fuente.
Looks like this is going to be a multi-cigar day.

Had a nice mild Gran Habano CT #1 Rothschild with my morning coffee. Not sure what I'm gonna have later though. We have a little taste of Winter outside. Cold, gray and we had a little snow. Staying inside with my wife. We're watching some DVD movies on the big screen. We started off with some Sopranos from Season 6. Later...

The Sungrown Chateau Fuente is my "GO TO" AM cigar.
It is a Robusto size cigar, a little shy of 5 inches and a 50 ring. It comes wrapped in cedar and has a black ribbon at the foot.
The wrapper is a nut brown color with few veins
It is mild to medium with a very complex flavor profile. I can taste a certain cherry sweetness that I enjoy with a little pepper and spice. When smoked down a bit you can taste a leather note as well.
I enjoy it with coffee in the morning and if I do not want a strong or heavy cigar I will go to it or the Sungrown Double Chateau which has a ery similar profile but is a bit longer

Well, since I didn't get to fire one up yesterday, today I enjoyed an Anejo #50 celebrating Virginia Tech's second ACC Championship and the Pittsburgh Panthers upset victory which knocked WVU out of National Championship contention!!! SWEET!!! And the smoke was nice too!!!
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

Last night was one of the few I have been proud to go to U. Pitt (during football season). What a game, even with the refs trying desperately to give the game to wvu. To celebrate, a vsg wizard 37 later this evening.
It's a cool evening, going down to about 62° or so.
I think I'll sit outside, get a fire going, and listen to the sounds of the desert. There's been a pesky mountain lion coming around damn near every night. I'm going to try to get a pic, or, if he decides he wants me for a snack, I'll have better than a pic. He'll be mounted over the fireplace.
I'm taking a Sancho Panza Sanchos out back with me.
