I hope you all receievd nice gifts for the holiday.

One son(the chef) dry aged a prime Sirloin and cut it into 15 inch and a half thick steaks.

Another got me some sausages from Cabelas. All kinds of exotic game meats such as Elk, Boar, Deer etc.

I also got a bottle of Lagavulin 16 year old and a Fonseca 20 year old Tawney Port.

From my Granddaughters came 6 cigars. VERY SPECIAL cigars that I can share with them, made of PREMIUM MILK CHOCOLATE.

I am smoking a Sungrown Chateau Fuente now, maybe more later.

After the kids go to bed I think I'll take the dog for a walk and light up Short Story.

We've go a new puppy and he already knows that if he smells cigar on my hands it probably means he's getting a walk.

Tonight I'll be having two Work of Art Maduros. The first will be a bit of homework on this X-Mas day as I will be taking detailed notes on it in order to compare it to the others I have once they are aged. The second will be for nothing but pleasure.

Come again? You know I don't speak Spanish. In English, please. What? You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole... wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? I'm not even mad, that's amazing.

Today I had a Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra Espresso, and tonight a CAO Sopranos Associate---the first CAO I've ever tried that I liked!

I hope that eventually they drop the HBO licensing and the car-trunk boxes and get the price down.

Bauza Pyramid this am, an Hoyo de M Robusto this afternoon, and now a Punch Rothschild.

After all the gifts, and the eating, I treated myself to an ablsoltuely outstanding Punch Black Prince (from 02), and some Havana Club Barrel Proof rum.

A wonderful Christmas all around.

Happy Boxing day everyone!

Monte #2 (04) - my favorite of all time. Creamy, chewy, leathery smoke...medium finish. When will they lose the Cuban ban?!
