I am going to give into the hype, tonight my first "Nub" experience, will fire up a Nub Habano 464T, that has been laying in the humidor for a few months, on the deck while cooking the steaks a bit later.
Start of a long weekend for myself, everyone have happy 4th of July!

This afternoon, one of two plugged Juan Lopez #2's I had from the last box. Used a poker to get a good draw, but the flavor was all tobacco. The complexity of the cigar was lost.
Tonight, an Esplendido in celebration of my 9 year anniversary with the Mrs. Very nice cigar, but I think I enjoyed the Lusitania more. I'm sure this would do better with more time.
Tonight is was a Rocky Patel Sun Grown pyramid paired with a bourbon and coke on ice! Had them outside on the deck as the pyros in my hood blasted the sky to bits with booms and sparks. The RP started out a little slow but burned into a fine smoke. I like a little bit stronger of a cigar but that's nit-picking. A yummy smoke indeed! Safe trip to ya Doc and all you's out there on the road.
