That's right. We learned a hard lesson in Boston a few years ago, I think it was after a Superbowl win. Anyway, the downtown area was crowded with rowdy fans and the police were firing rubber bullets and hit and killed a young woman.
Don't forget Steve, a warning shot fired in the air is probably not a good idea in a downtown area - even if it is shot straight up to avoid buildings, that round is going to come back down and could just as easily kill someone.

You are correct sir, the only part that stuck in my mind was a non-lethal method (but not in this case, unfortunately).

If you think Chara was booed by the Habs fans waite and see the reaction Briere gets. It's going to be another great series. I always like Biron when he was in Buffalo and he loves to play in Montreal. GO HABS GO.
I'll tell you, that Begin line, my fav Hab, is crashing and skating and doing everything. It was only fitting that they get the goal. In the 2nd you can just see the Habs speed starting to jell. The turning point realy was the missed penalty shot. Even though it could've pumped the Flyers up it showed the Habs speed was starting to catch the Flyers flat footed. I'm looking forward to the next game. GO HABS GO.
Well this is going to be one tough series. Biron was outstanding for the Flyers and I feel Price is still a bit shakey. The Habs have shown though that they are not going to be intimidated. Look for the Begin line to get plenty of ice time tonight. Not only have they shown toughnesss and grit but they are creating plenty of scoring chances. Habs should take this one. GO HABS GO.
I'm glad Philly didn't take a penalty for Price's theatrics at 2:01 left in the first. In my opinion, he clearly threw off his own helmet in that confrontation. Thankfully, the refs saw the deception (not that this type of thing isn't fairly common these days)!

Marty Biron is playing superb. I always liked him here in Buffalo. A boneheaded move by Hatcher. If the Habs would've scored he would've been the goat of the playoffs. Philly is playing real well right now especially in front of Price. The Habs need to create traffic in front of Marty. A good note for the Habs was the way the power play looked late in the game. When this team plays with desperation they are extremely dangerous. The hit by Hatcher may have more of an affect than most people think. He could've awakened the sleeping giant. Game 4 should be fantastic. Great hockey so far throughout the playoffs. GO HABS GO.

I agree! Do you think they'll start Price again after getting yanked last night? When he's hot, he's almost impenetrable, but when he gets a few shots past him, he seems to fall apart a bit.
I almost hope this series goes to seven games.

I think Price will be in the nets for game 4. I think he needed to be pulled. Sometimes being pulled relieves alot of stress from the goalie. Now that it is over and done his fear of being pulled is over. Mentaly he can now focus on his game rather than be worried about how bad it will be to be pulled. Carbo will come right back with him but if he struggles early he won't waite as long to pull him. Price has the ability to bounce back.
