Yes it was.

And it makes it even better when people can take it as it is instead of saying stupid things like this.

The Habs simply let the Bruins win as a courtesy to Bostonians. They had been humiliated enouh with 13 consecutive losses to the Canadiens -- let them have their day of hued victory.

I'm sure he was just joking around jb-07. No need to call him stupid.
On another note, this has been great hockey. I have been impressed with the Bruins penalty kill and the way they are shutting down Kovolev. Thomas is playing great in net as is Price. Is there any more of an under rated star than Savard?
When it's the Bruins vs Habs, regular season records go out the window in the playoffs. These two teams were ment to play eachother. I believe it will go to a game seven allthough I hope not.
Kudos to B's coaching staff for setting a good game plan but I don't think it will be enough. Look for the Habs to not play into a grinding game with the B's but open the game up and draw the Bruins into taking penaltys with their incredable speed.
GO HABS GO.

Do I need to put cute little emoticons in my messages so you can understand when grown-ups are being tongue-in-cheek?

I guess I took it the wrong way in text over the internet. Doesn't happen often at all. I must be too young to understand. Need an emoticon?

It's going to be a great game. Right now the B's have the momentum but I feel Price is going to be outstanding and Plekanec is going to be on his game. Look for the Habs to toughen up a little by placing O'byrne in the lineup.
I also think the tone of the game will be set early with a scrap or two early in the game. At least I hope.
And I hope the refs let them play. There have been iffy calls on both sides.
GO HABS GO.

I'd like to see Chara get even more physical - something about someone who is 6'9" getting in there and asserting himself Wink

5 minutes left in the second and still 0-0, I can see it might be close, as Littoines has predicted.

Go Bruins!

I don't think Chara is 100%. He seems to be nursing an injury of somesort. I could see it in his shot and the way he is hitting.

Well, final score 1-0. Very defensive game -- I'd say Italian style if it were soccer. One more to go. GO HABS GO!

Just a fantastic game to watch. I don't think it was as defencive as the score indicates.
There were plenty of scoring chances and it opened up a bit at times.
The main thing is the Bruins tried to play a hard hitting aggresive game but the Habs were able to match them hit for hit. I think it was a good move by Carbo to put O'byrne in as he threw his wieght around.
Bruins fans need to get over that game two bad call. There are always going to be bad calls and it all evens out in the end.
If the Habs win this series it is not going to be because of that bad call. Like wise if the Bruins win it's not going to be because the Habs are without Koivu.
This is the playoffs and the teams that overcome adversity are the ones that will be successful.
