My beautiful bride gave birth do a baby boy this past Wednesday-- Palmer Mitchell. Got home last night and am hoping to have a celebratory cigar Sunday afternoon to celebrate.
So who here has kids? Any words of wisdom for a new father?
Congratulations! Having Children is the greatest gift of all. At times it can be difficult so don't dwell on those times. Understand that things will change.
And thus my advice: Don't get used to anything - good or bad - it will change.
The crying will stop. The fear over each and every sniffle will end.
Just enjoy every moment. Enjoy the journey.

Congrats!
A happy and healthy long life to your newfound family!
I have a boy (3) and twin boys on the way in a matter of weeks.
As others have said...love them. Everyday will bring at least one moment that makes all the sleepness nights and tension worth it all. It may be a look or a sound, but it will be there.
Last night my boy bumped his knee and had that look that said he could go either way. Knowing he wasn't "hurt-hurt" I immediately said rub some dirt on hit (not the first time) and he reached down into the carpet, pretended to grab some dirt and rubbed his knee with it, smiled and kept playing.
His grandparents were in town and just though it was the funiest thing...
Anyone with children can go on and on with stories.....just enjoy it. The saying is true. they do grow up fast.
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia
