Actually, judging by the polls, only about half the country is SICK OF THE REPUBLICANS.

Could you provide a source for where you found 70%?

The latest poll I saw had McCain at 43%. That would make 57%.

Must be the work of art politics poll... Roll Eyes

Indeed they did, to democrats who were more conservative than their republican counterparts.
Not true, actually.

Travis Childers (in Mississippi) is very conservative for a Democrat, but certainly not more so than Greg Davis. And the GOP and the conservative foundation Freedom's Watch combined to sink almost $2 million into Davis' campaign, in a district that gave Bush 62% of its vote in 2004.

In Illinois, moderate Democrat Bill Foster beat Jim Oberweis, a very conservative, family-values Republican for Dennis Hastert's seat handily, in west Chicago, previously GOP territory.

In Louisiana, it was at least close, but Don Cazayoux, a Barack Obama supporter, beat Republican Woody Jenkins despite some high profile GOP endorsements.

Not because I am shouting at you or disrespecting you (God forbid!), but to EMPHASIZE a certain word or group of words. D O Y O U U N D E R S T A N D N O W? Maybe someone ELSE can explain it to you better.

It is a pain in the a$$, but bold or italics is more appropriate for emphasis. Unfortunately for those of us that have been online for a long time, all CAPS is considered yelling and hard to overlook. And remember, we can't see if you have a growl or grin on your face while your are CAPPING us all off. Also, it makes your posts harder to read. Big Grin

As I've been on the internet for MANY years, I am fully aware of what ALL CAPS signifies, sir. All caps is shouting or disrespectful. I capitalize certain words for EMPHASIS. The bold function here is ridiculous. Presley is the only guy who makes an issue of this. He started out by insulting me, now he has graduated to belittling the way I post. When a guy like him has nothing else to say, he resorts to insults and tactics like this. Sort of like the GOP. When all else fails they try to distract people from the mess our country is in by talking about flag pins and such. lol....

We all know you are compensating, loco.
Most intelligent people use proper grammar to emphasize their point. It's okay, when you're about seventeen, I imagine caps lock is just easier.

J Loco,
When you "all caps" every other word, then the all caps loses the emphasis that you intend. Your text gives me the feeling you are suffering from a bad case of 'roid rage. It's OK, I have a strange feeling your time here is limited.
