Lucky, this isn't 8 years ago. The topic is not GWB. Roll Eyes

When you say failed policies do you mean Iraq? If so, do you really believe if Obama is elected he is going to start marching troops by the thousand out of Iraq? I think some of you liberals are in for a rude awakening if you think that is true. Wait until he sits down with his NSC and talks with the commanders on the ground over there. Wait until he listens to them tell him the consequences of yanking our troops out.

I think Obama's been pretty level-headed through this campaign. I've noticed his tendency to really choose his words carefully;

Yeah i really liked his speech couple of weeks ago. You know the one about him visiting all 57 states. A regular rocket scientist Roll Eyes .

I said smart, charismatic and intelligent.

I didn't say war-mongering, wasting billions on military spending, and the blind continuation of failed conservative policy.

Nice try, though.

Continuation of failed conservative policy? In a previous thread you said he was a liberal. Confused

Talk about "Ignorant" Geeze Sheep. I cannot wait until the Fall when Obama soundly defeats Mc Cain. I am just wondering what you excuses will be. Mc Cain doesn't have a prayer. Bush and the republicans sealed his fate with 8 years of total incompetence

I know you are infatuated with the Jimmy Carter election that too was an anything but republican election. But this one is different in those days they did not forget. Today its just yesterdays news. Besides that did not work then Carter did much more harm and no good at all. He still continues too speak and showing us all he is still a fool.

Your spelling and grammar is second hand.

Nice attempt at discrediting my opinions however, even though you know nothing of my citizenship.

He is indeed more liberal than the rest of the batch of conservative nutjobs who made a run for prez, but I am fairly certain that if elected, he intends to carry on with the same policies Bush left behind, particularly in terms of wasteful military spending.

Come on, attacking someone's internet grammar just says that you don't have a legitimate argument to pose. Let's keep this to an adult level.

Not just Iraq. His policy has alienated the United States from most of it's allies. The domestic policies as well are not something most Americans cherish him for.

And I perfectly know that Obama won't be pulling troops by the thousands when he becomes president. Actually I know that the US won't be withdrawing from Iraq any time soon. They might withdraw from cities as a force of active occupation, but they most certainly will stay in bases.

Much like attacking someone by presupposing a lack of US political knowledge based on their place of residence? (Which, incidentally seems all the more hypocritical coming from someone much further from the US than I am.) Wink
