Now that we're almost halfway through the holiday, is everyone having a good one? Do anything special? See anyone you haven't seen in a while? Anyone even go to shul?

My wife's best friends invite us over for Seder every year - it's a celebration of freedom, and a connection to all the generations that have gone before.

It's probably the one time each year that the whole crew gets together - there were 25 of us this year.

It's also fun, my being the youngest (at 45) - we have some fun with that... Smile

Even though neither of us is Jewish, we're all still part of the same "family of choice"

So many cigars, so little time...

Nice Passover indeed. So far I've made time for a Montecristo White and a Perdomo Lot 23 to go along with my matzah and wine.

I've been away from the boards for a while because I am at an Army school in Indiana right now and preparing for deployment to Iraq. My passover was spent eating pasta because when I asked the dining facility people for "Matzo," they had no idea what I was talking about and misunderstood it as "Pasta."
