I recently started learning about cigars and such, and i've tried these few:

Acid Nasty
Padron (Maduro)
Arturo y Fuente (gran reserva)
Chateau Real

now to tell you the truth the latter 3 i really don't taste much, in terms of flavor. I notice how some are bolder than other but im talking bolder tobacco, the Padron i liked the least. I LOVED the Nasty, do any of you guys no of other cigars similar in nature to the "Nasty" whatever TYPE of cigar that is... that's what i enjoyed the most.. I mean from beginning to end the smoke and taste would change ever so slightly but it was enjoyable not just a tobacco taste like the others.

Arturo y Fuente????

I think you mean Arturo Fuente (no y).

Tastes in cigars need to be acquired. A White Owl Strawberry might taste like strawberry, but it will not taste like a cigar.

Flavors in premium cigars need to be appreciated. They are more nuances than flavors and require some time to develop

I thought it was named "Nasty" for a reason.....

B&P if that's the type of cigar you enjoy then you should try the other Acids as well as the other lines from Drew Estate........especially the Naturals.

Acid cigars are made by Drew Estate. Drew Estate also makes the Natural line which is technically not flavored but nevertheless has a distinct and rather strong flavor more akin to the Acid brand than to the non-flavored brands most of the posters on this board smoke. (Naturals are made with exotic tobacco from around the word, e.g. Syria, Turkey, Nepal.)

CAO makes a line of flavored cigars, and Rocky Patel has one called Java (which is made for them by Drew Estate.) Even the Gurkha line has a cigar infused with cognac.

I would suggest talking to your tobacconist and seeing what they have. You'll want to avoid the cheap ones available in convenience stores and focus on the handmade "infused" cigars that can typically only be found at a cigar store.

If you like premium, handmade, infused cigars like Acid, more power to you. It's a whole different animal from what most of us smoke, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. Just don't go for the cheap machine made stuff - you'll really be disappointed.

Typically I do not smoke the ACID and Natural cigars from Drew Estate, but I have found with some friends of mine, that they started smoking the Drew Estate and other High quality flavored cigars and later started trying some more full bodied and not flavored cigars. Now they smoke smoke pretty heavy hitters, and when they want a lighter bodied smoke they still enjoy a flavored cigar.

I enjoy them, though rarely, but I have had a couple Naturals and ACIDs and I do like them, they are different from what i regularly smoke but are good in their own right.
