Getting a new gig fellas and looking for a few of your suggestions on what you think would be an ideal stick to share with some friends and live it up a little. Also let me be the first, all beit rather early, to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July.

For your cigar smoking friends get some Cubans. Montecristo #2 comes to mind.

For non smokers who want to celebrate Macanudo

Padron Anniversary Series is a great suggestion. Or Opus X for yourself and your close cigar buddies, 5 Vegas Gold for everyone else. Big Grin

I suggest an Ashton ESG 20 year salute. An outstanding sun grown wrapper. Complex flavors with a rich long finish.
As for your friends, if they are not regular smokers, Romeo y Julieta. Everyone has heard of them and newbies always feel they are top shelf because of the mildness and rich history. Plus, they are a great smoke.
IMHO.

I agree with Doc on this one. For cigar smokers, a nice CC is a great way to celebrate. The Monte #2 is a classic that will be appreciated; others to consider would be a double corona from Hoyo, Partagas, or Punch, or churchills from H. Up. or Cohiba.

Stick with Macanudos for non-smokers.

Mac's for new folks, for sure. If you can get any 06 production Monte #2's those would be great for everyone else. I've smoked some 07's but they were a bit fresh, need some time on them for sure.

I posted this question a few months ago, you can read through some suggestions in it. Here's the link. Oh and I suggest the PAM64, I had it today, and it's a great smoke.
