Hey all, I'm headed out of the country for a week to vacation with my wife at the Sandals Resort in Antigua, leaving March 25th. Has anyone been there before and were you able to bring some of your sticks with you? I was planning to bring around 20, but don't want some Custom Agent taking them away from me, causing me to loose my nice travel humidor, cutter, lighter or worse not letting me through customs at all. So with that, I'll probably leave all of it at home in hopes I find some good sticks there to enjoy with my wife.
Can anyone enlighten my concerns at all? Hope so.
Thanks,
Gil

Put all of your cigar gear in your check in luggage and you should not have any problems.

As kechke stated, if the travel humi is in your checked baggage there should be no probleem at all....generally they are not looking for items going into the country but rather the items coming out.

Do not pack your lighter. Butane lighters are not permitted on airplanes. When you get to Antigua buy a Bic.

You can bring some cigars for your own consumption but be very careful about buying what are sold as Cuban cigars because in all likelyhood they are counterfeit and unless you are very astute at spotting fakes leave the "Cubans" alone.

Take your cigars in your carry on and your cutter in your checked luggage.
