I've given cigars I was smoking away to others who are of lesser means...about to board a bus, I left it with one of the luggage handlers, for example. But nobody ever asked for a 'hit'. I remember my dad offering me a hit of his cigar, and it was just absolutely gross because he would hold the cigar in his molars and literally squish the head...never took him up on it and never expected anyone to ask, either.
