Hello all, I'm new here so I'll probably be a lurker for a while. I started checking out the CW forum about a month ago as well. I have smoked cigars off and on for 25 years but have developed a serious habit since moving to Florida 3 years ago. Eek
I have a nice smoke shop in my area but also buy a lot on-line. I'm in a major experimental phase right now. Transitioning from mild/medium toward medium/full body sticks.
I'm a guitar player which can be an expensive hobby, particularly hanging out on guitar forums. Now I find I'm using gear money to buy cigars instead. Cool Hope to gain some valuable info here. Take care.

Steve

Welcome Steve! Glad to see a fellow Floridian on the board.

If you are in the Orlando area, we will be having our "Hurricane Herf" at Corona Cigar Co. this Saturday starting at 3:00 PM.... We will have board members form all over Florida, as well as couple from La, and you never know who will show up. All are welcome. No charge, just bring a good attitude and a fistful of money to turn into sweet-smelling smoke.
If you need more info, or directions, let me know. email:
rbihari AT cfl DOT rr DOT com

Let's see..... we have a professional Piano player (PAPARICK), and now a Guitarist....soon we will have our own Florida Cigar Band !
Later....
Cool

Steve,

Welcome!

Please take the time to read the threads mentioned in BinDer's signature, consider them a survival manual, look up a thread "correct me if i'm wrong" to understand what a real beating is like here. And please keep hands and feet inside the forum at all times. Thank you and enjoy the ride.

Rbihari, I occasionally go to Carona when I can't find sticks at other shops. I find their more pricey than other chops, but they do have EVERYTHING! I may go there today cause I'm looking for a Torano Signature and Padilla.

Earl: I agree about their prices...MSAJeff calls them "The Money Pit" for a reason! Ol Times' prices are much better for individual sticks, and they have two shops pretty close to me (Longwood)....but Corona's box prices are a bit better, and nobody in the area has their selection.

Are you going to be able to make it to the herf on Saturday? We'd all love to meet you in person, and TPSO and Jessiesgirl will be coming down from La. Hopefully you can make it....we'll be in the bar area after 3:00

BTW...The Padillas are usually in the far-right hand side of the store near the window...and if you can't find the Toraño Sigs there, they have them in the ABC store near 434 & 436 (surprizingly, they have a pretty decent walk-in).
