Louis Rukeyser, the father of financial television, died from multiple myeloma this week. The urbane and witty host of "Wall $treet Week" for decades on PBS, he helped millions of Americans learn to love free market capitalism.
He will be sorely missed - he was truly one of a kind.

He was great. Loved the multiple puns in his opening monologues.

In all the years I'd watched him, I can't recall a single time he recommended a stock. Given his enormous savvy, I thought that was classy. He put the others on that spot. Made for amusing banter when he sometimes taunted them afterwards. Very informative and interesting show for the layman.
