I thought I'd revive this thread because lately I've been smoking and enjoying Lonsdale sizes (6.5x44) very much. Before, I almost always smoked robustos.
I recently started smoking through a box of VSG Illusions that give me a very enjoyable, rich flavor profile that I don’t get from the larger VSG’s. The same goes for some La Aroma de Cuba’s I’ve been smoking where I compared their Pyramid (6 1/8x50) to their Cetros (6.5x44) and was surprised again to find the smaller smoke was more flavorful and richer tasting.
I still enjoy my Padron 3000’s, which are 5.5x52 and still have a lot of DPG robustos around.
Just thought I'd post my experiences and find out if others here may be changing their vitola of-choice lately.

42-60, mostly 48-54 it really depends on the time that i have to smoke.If I have all the time in the world there is nothing like a maduro series R #6 or #7.

Typically 47. I prefer churchills and double coronas, however belicosos are nice as well. So 47-54.
