Good morning Doc - I see you had an early smoke today. Well, I too smoked one, though it's after 8pm already here. The NC Montecristo Platinum Series Habana No.2 I had went well with a dram of Laphroaig Quarter Cask, though I wish the cigar's flavors were a little more intense. It was also too soft for my fingers.

Just finished a Charatan churchill. Very mild and one-dimensional, pleasant enough in the first half but became dusty and papery in the second half. 56.

Just finished a well-aged Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto with a vodka & soda.
I've been trying to smoke through an aged box of these but since I first smoked them about a year ago, it seems aging did nothing, if anything, it made them less desirable.
I took the day off as well. This morning, with my sweet coffee and morning paper, I indulged in a Rocky Patel (can't remember which) and right now, post 2 hours worth of yardwork, I am enjoying an Arturo Fuentes Gran Reserva. Life is good.
After a prosciutto and fresh mozzarella and tomato sandwich. A couple of shots of Knob Creek Whiskey Gotta hand it to you Americans you Kentucky sipping whiskey is the best. I lit up an H uppmann Con #1 that i picked up in LCDH in Rome.
