I was part of a student project and we had a competition in Detroit by the third week of May. A lot of students from de US were force to move some of their finals for the competition. I always found it a bit strange since here we normally finish by the and of April or before.
How many weeks do you have in your semester ? When did it started ?
We usually start around January 7 and we have 15 weeks semesters (including finals). Exceptionally, this semester started around the 14th of Jan and thats why we'll finish at the very end of april.

Same with Politics. We no longer have these major and minor stuff here. Dunno why.. it just doesn't exist anymore !

I expected it to be difficult...I completely underestimated how difficult it really is. It's easily the most challenging thing I've ever done.
I was a strong math and science guy, but changed my focus in undergrad and graduated with a degree in political science, worked politics and government for 6 years, and decided to go back to school...I had to re-learn how to study in addition to the rigors of the program...but I'm holding my own...

That's what I'm scared about. Even if my GPA and LSAT grades get me into a top 14, I'm nervous I can't hack it bdcause of the compitition from Ivy League kids. I don't think just because by GPA is high and my practice LSAT score was high automatically means I can go toe to toe with a Princeton grad.
I'm taking a year off. I'm trying to get certified to teach English as a foreign language in Europe, South America, or Asia. I hope that'll give me some "real world" experience and also really improve my writing skills so I'll be able to turn out some high quality papers.
Thanks, Mike! I'm not too concerned, I feel prepared.
