My wife and I rarely go out to the movies any more, but today we took in a matinee showing of Casino Royale-- a fun film. What are your thoughts on the new 007?

(Yeah, I know that the ninnies took out the scene with Bond smoking a cigar , but at least they didn't turn him into a sissy just yet)

In my humble opinion it was the best Bond ever. Even though Bond not enjoying a cigar at the poker game was just WRONG!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was excellent. A great move getting back to the standard of what James Bond films were all about and not pointless action and explosions.

I really enjoyed it as well. Fun movie, my only complaint would be no bond theme song until the ending credits ... what gives?

I thought it was a solid movie.

I thought the ending, where you first hear the theme song and the signature "my name is Bond..." line was great, because this is supposed to be a prequel of sorts.

My wife's reaction when it ended was "What! I want the next one NOW," so I guess they did it right. I'll say one thing, this new guy looks tough.

missed it in the theaters, looks like ill be anxiously awaiting the release on video though
